True Digital Group attended as a panel speaker for the Thailand in View 2023 conference

On Tuesday, 10 October, 2023, Mr. Winradit Kolasastraseni, President of Digital Media at True Digital Group attended as a panel speaker for the Thailand in View 2023 conference, organized by the Asia Video Industry Association’s (AVIA) at Grand Ballroom, Park Hyatt Bangkok.

Thailand in View 2023 conference provided a platform to delve into the pressing challenges confronting local, regional, and global streaming services. The discussions revolved around their priorities concerning content, growth strategies, and evolving business models for the upcoming year. A pivotal question addressed was the potential impact of the growing consumption of streaming services on the traditional pay TV business.

During the “Streaming into the Future” session, Mr. Winradit Kolasastraseni, President of Digital Media, True Digital Group, participated as the panel speaker with Parnsuk Tongrob, Country Director for Thailand iQIYI, and Kanokporn-Jay Prachayaset Country Manager, WeTV Thailand Tencent Thailand.

In this session, Mr. Winradit Kolasastraseni highlights the significance of local Thai content. He mentioned “ Production was not just for the Thai audience, but for a global audience. However, what you do next after investing in local content was key, with a need to increase the value creation upstream to further downstream in distribution and monetization. “People are now recognizing that Thai can be a Korean option, or even a better version,”
